Subject: Response to Pro-Tech Problems

Date: January 27, 2008

Dear Mr. Collins,

First of all, I would like to apologize for the problems you encountered with your Pro-Tech raingear and for your negative trip experience. AZ Hiking Venture appreciates your continuous business and loyalty. Purchasers of Pro-Tech raingear have notified us about problems similar to your own because of Pro-Tech’s lack of educating consumers about their products.

When used properly, Pro-Tech rainwear is designed to protect its wearer from becoming wet. If the following suggestions are not applied, however, the gear will not perform optimally.

·        Keep the fabric clean from dirt and other buildup.

·        Keep the ventilation zippers (pit zips) open.

·        Layer clothing and wear moisture-wicking clothing to keep yourself warm and dry.

·        Do not put on the rain gear if you are already wet.

If it seems as though you have followed all of the above, and you still would like to come into AZ Hiking Venture, we would be more than happy to take a look at your product and grant you a full return.

Once again I am sorry for your inconvenience, and I thank you for taking the time to notify us of your problem. Here at Arizona Hiking Venture, we strive to provide our customers with the best assistance possible in a timely manner. If you would like to discuss anything else, you can reach me at (480) 222-9292.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Sims

General Manager of AZ Hiking Venture
